Let's get started !
My Story
My name is Lucie Deschamps, 22 years old, Junior Game Designer and a part-time dreamer when I'm on my own.
I'm born in a small village in the South of France where I grew up with a little brother. When we were young, while he was playing video games I watched him and supported him. Until I get my first portable console: the first Nintendo DS.
Since this moment, I started to play video games too and I discovered the immersion that they could provide! Then I created my own universe developed with games and games.
During my school years, I did horse riding for 13 years and so I wanted to become Osteopath for animals (it's far from video games I know). I wanted to help and heal animals without having to do traditional medicine.
I get the chance to do 2 internships of job shadowing with professional animal osteopaths: one in a veterinary clinic where I saw cats and dogs, and the other in Aveyron (France) where I saw bovid and equid. I realized that this job was amazing and I admire it a lot but I didn't see myself at this place.
My parents are photographers, so my brother and I grew up with an open mind on arts in general. I always liked to draw, doing DIY, imagine stories (and sometimes, I wrote them). Creation is a big part of my life that I can't take it off.

And then one day my father talked to me about ETPA - School of Photography and Game Design. The Game Design section was 7 years old new and an open day was coming, so we came to give it a try. This day my parents, who did the Photography section, spent time with their former teachers while I discovered the school, students, teachers, and my future vocation: Game Designer.
And the next part, here it is !

Travels :
I had the chance to travel a lot all my life, first with my family and most recently with my friends.

Since I'm young, my parents took my brother and me whenever they went. They wanted us to have an open mind and a taste for discovering new countries with their people and culture.
And it succeeds, I'm in love with the concept of a journey!
